Telegram has announced a year-end update for its users. In this new update, the company has introduced some special features, which includes reactions to messages, ‘Spoiler text’, among others. Here’s a quick look at the new features and what they can do to make your chat experience more efficient.
Telegram is a free instant messaging service for professional services, such as B2B. Telegram is an app that allows users to send text messages, voice messages, and media files for free. It offers self-destructing messages, the ability to send and share large files, group chats, and a way to broadcast messages to all chats. This December, Telegram announced its new update, which includes some new features. This blog will go through some of the new features Telegram has introduced.
What are the reactions to messages?
React to posts on your messages with reactions (including a new emoji set) regardless of whether they’re sent by you or someone else. It makes it easier than ever for friends to talk about something going on in the world around them!
What are the translations to messages?

Add New Public Channels.
Find out what’s happening on the world’s most popular chat app on one page with the new public channels. Find all your friends and public channels from around the world, or select what’s popular with any particular group of people.
“I’m away from my phone”
Make some noise! When you get a notification and can’t respond immediately, you can now send an “I’m away from my phone” message to our notification centre. At that point, other users will know you’re away but won’t see that you may be unavailable.
*If you’re on Android, you can now pick which device should ring or vibrate when you get a call. Simply go to Settings → Ringtones and Sounds and pick your primary device or the one that fits best for this particular call.
*Turn off read receipts for messages from anyone particular contact or group of contacts right in your chats list.
*Change the colour of your chat background with an accent theme made by Telegram’s designers just for you! Just go to Settings → Appearance and choose a style that suits you best.
*Nest your groups for a more organized chat. Now it’s possible to nest channels by simply opening a channel and tapping the NEST button at the top of your screen. You can nest up to 4 levels, which means you can live long and prosper in the group hierarchy with us.
*You were annoyed that you could run out of credit in Telegram? Never again! Whenever you’re running low on credit, just reload it through our website or with a payment method of your choice. Then enjoy another 100Mb of data!
Telegram 8.4 is live now in the Google Play Store, rolling out to all Android users.
